We toured the archaelogical site of Chichén Itzá and learned about the history and culture of the Mayan people.

In front of The Observatory or "El Caracol" Study of astronomy guided agricultural activities.
Carvings are evident on many of the structures. The serpent represents the god Kukulcan.
